Classic Outdoor Wedding Photography: Laura + Martin at the Historic Crockett Barn

I've been looking forward to this wedding all summer long - Laura was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed quite a few years ago now, and she was getting married on Whidbey Island, a spot where I had the pleasure of photographing a friend's wedding a few summers back. There was a lot of smoke coming down from forest fires in Canada, so the usual beautiful weather was replaced with some fog and haze, and an amazing orange sun and bright pink moon - not exactly what Laura had planned for, but really beautiful in its own right.

My second shooter, Ally, and I went up for a weekend and had a simply lovely time with this great couple and their fantastic friends and family. It was such a beautiful wedding, with some of the most photogenic food I've seen at an event! The music was great, the decorations were fabulous, and everything went off without a hitch.

Thanks, Laura and Martin, for having us as a part of your big day!
