Chelsea and Audrey chose the Columbia River Gorge Hotel for their intimate wedding both for its beautiful setting and for its sense of Old Hollywood glamour. I had never been there before, so I arrived a little early to check out our photography options, and I was thrilled - despite the rainy weather. The dogwood trees and cherry blossoms in full bloom created a riot of pink throughout the property, adding a stunning foreground to the already beautiful views of the Columbia River. . .
Niki and Jeremy’s Columbia River Gorge wedding was so much fun! It was quite a bit snowier in The Dalles than it had been when we visited the venue together last December - and colder too! - but the happy couple and their bridal party took it in stride. I think the credit really goes to Niki and Jeremy for keeping each other and their friends laughing all day. . .
Bridal Veil Lakes is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Columbia River Gorge, near Portland, Oregon. No matter what direction I point my camera, everything there is beautiful. And being basically on the side of the mountain overlooking the river, there always seems to be beautiful light. So I was delighted when Liz got in touch with me about photographing her wedding with Kelly there this summer. . .
Jessie and Dave's Camp Angelos wedding was such a beautiful example of an amazing group effort event. Friends and family members pitched in on gorgeous flowers, hand-painted escort cards, homemade traditional desserts, and fun family traditions. Add a bunch of adorable kids, really delicious food, a doggy ring-bearer, and lots of warm, lovely people, and you have a truly unique, memorable wedding day for a fantastic couple.
It's always such a pleasure to shoot at Bridal Veil Lakes in the Columbia River Gorge near Portland, Oregon, and Sam + Melissa's beautiful wedding was no exception. These two families know each other very well, in the way that only families of high school sweethearts can, so it was truly lovely to see them come together to celebrate their shared history and a new marriage
It's possible I went a little JJ Abrams on this one, but that lens flare is just so pretty, I couldn't help myself. Getting close to being able to share Melissa + Sam's gorgeous Bridal Veil Lakes wedding photography -- Can't wait!
I went to visit Bridal Veil Lakes with Katie and Matt the week before their wedding and was in awe of how beautiful it was. Everything at this Columbia River Gorge wedding venue, from the ceremony site to the reception area, to the lake itself is just picture-perfect. I knew right away that this was going to be one gorgeous wedding. We were lucky to have beautiful weather on the big day, and the whole thing went off without a hitch — wonderful food, lovely friends and family, great music and lots of Scotch and Irish Whiskey made sure of it. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this beautiful wedding day! Many thanks to Katie and Matt for having me (and thanks to my lovely second-shooter Ally for the gorgeous photos!)
