I photographed Julie and Jared’s wedding last year, and we’re already meeting up for some lovely fall golden-hour maternity photos! Very exciting. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to see these amazing milestones in people’s lives and watch their families grow. . .
This couple met at Lewis and Clark College, so the lovely gardens there were a great choice for this adorable family session. I had such fun with them and their giggly little girls, and I couldn’t get enough of the adorable cowboy boots.
When I was discussing locations for their family session with these adorable folks, the idea of the coast came up, and the boys apparently chanted “BEACH! BEACH! BEACH! until the decision was final. Which was perfect, because everyone was so happy to be on the Oregon coast! (It’s truly one of my favorite places to be - I could stand and stare at the Pacific Ocean for hours.) We had so much fun during this session. And the finished products - big, lovely bamboo mounted art for the living room wall - was truly stunning. . .
I think this is my sixth (or maybe seventh) session with these lovely friends and their growing family, and every time, it's such a delight. And this time I got to take adorable sister photos too! Lulu is reportedly having a bit of trouble adjusting to not being the baby anymore, but she did a great job at being the big sister while I was there . . .
It was such a delight to see Holly and Jake again, and meet lovely baby Nora! This little family makes me so very happy...
I was so delighted to visit with Holly and Jake recently for another maternity session. This time we took photos in their adorable little home just across the river in Vancouver, WA so that we could include their lovely nursery, their skittish cat Bindi, and memories of their beloved daughter Charlie. I can't wait to meet baby Nora when she joins this amazing family!
It's been such a fun ride for Mayda's first year. I've met up with this adorable family every three months since her newborn photos (actually, before that, since we first met for her mom's maternity session!), and it's been so much fun to watch her and her big sister grow. I can't wait to see where they'll go from here!
I’m having such a blast visiting with baby Mayda and her family to document her first year! For her 6 month session, I met these precious little girls and their adorable parents at the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island near Portland, Oregon. It was a beautiful early fall morning, and the Patch was still dry and lovely – a perfect day for picking pumpkins. I can’t believe how fast little Mayda is growing up! Happy Fall, everyone!
